Oh. My. God. Tonight's season finale was the best hour on television in years and years. It was just dramatic and so real. I know women like these ladies. I can relate to these characters perfectly. I actually went to high school with Teresa (though she was few years older than me) and the Manzo family has been involved with a lot of the foundation work my family does with the hospital.
I don't want to say too much because I don't want to be a spoiler, but once you watch it, come back and talk to me about it!!

I've only watched one episode of any of those Real Housewives shows. I think it was the O.C. I hated each of those women.
But, someday there will be a Jersey Housewives marathon on and I might give it a try. Why not? I hear that one in the middle of that pic used to be a stripper. That's cool.
I've never even seen the show, but are some of those women part of a "waste management" or "import/export" family business? Ha!
Well, um... Stephen Colbert made a reference to them last week. I only saw that because I taped the show. My favorite show is The Weather Channel, because I'm geeky like that -- or maybe that just my way of saying I don't watch much TV. Sorry.
Jay - A stripper, a prostitute and drug dealer. Crazy stuff.
Bustysatan - Like I have said many times, my reality is culturally very similar to The Sopranos. That show was filmed in town and surrounding town and each character is like a real person that I know.
Same with Real Housewives.
Kcinnova - Stephen Colbert can relate too. He lives in my town. He knows women like this too. :-)
I love that show!! I haven't watched the finale yet but I can't wait to. The only thing I'm upset about was how short this season was! It needed to be way longer. Also I am totally on team Caroline and not just because our names our so similar. She is so likable and I defiantly know people who are like these women.
I also hate how so many people from Jersey hate this show and say it gives us a bad name. I don't think thats true at all. Sure some people act like that and others don't. Just like the other housewives shows, it doesn't mean everyone in that state is like that!
That's a lot of long legs showing there, what were you talking about?
Watched it, loved it. Let's chat about it!!!
I haven't watched the show as I have a sneaking suspicion that I would loathe the characters. I might try to catch it one evening, just to see. I'll try anything once (usually).
This show was like cocaine for me. I was hooked!
Last night's episode was just jaw dropping. Although I have to agree with you, that Caroline had her head together and was a fair mediator in the beginning...
Hrmmm, never have seen it. I've watched the OC one for years though. I think I will look for a marathon on my Tivo!
I've never watched this version, but I sometimes watch the OC one when it's on. I watched one episode of the Atlanta one and hated it. The women on these were just so out of touch with reality. Sounds like maybe the NJ ones are a little more down to earth? Maybe?? Anyway, I'm sure it's good fun to watch!
Oh yeah...did you watch True Blood yet?!?!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this show. Teresa is my favorite! Was she nice in high school or was she really popular and mean? She seems nice on the show!!
I haven't watched the finale yet. I taped it and I'm just waiting for my roommate to go to bed so that I can watch it. I can't wait.
I love the New York wives and the Jersey wives. I was just luke warm about Atlanta and California. They totally need to do a Vegas one!~
It's killing me that you and my sister got to watch all of these and I didn't! I saw the preview show and was dying to watch it, but life kept getting in the way. Dang it! I need to Hulu that or something!
Oh my gawd, I'm so hooked that I've been tapin' this show. I'm so amazed that there are what we would call "white trash with money" all the way up there!
I loved how her husband held her back from the fight. Great stuff!
